Why Not Both?
The Riviera Maya is one of the only places on Earth where you can dive both cenotes and Caribbean reefs in the same day. Many divers do a morning cenote dive followed by an afternoon reef dive - the ultimate Mexico diving experience!
All Our Packages Include
Cenote entrance fees, full dive gear, authentic Mexican food, and transportation from your hotel in Playa del Carmen area.
Cenote-to-Ocean Transition
Cenote First
Cenote diving uses less nitrogen (freshwater). Do cenotes in the morning for optimal surface interval.
Ocean Second
Reef dive in the afternoon. This allows proper surface interval between dives.
Buoyancy Check
You'll need MORE weight for ocean diving. Saltwater is more buoyant than freshwater.
Don't Rush
Take your time between environments. Do a proper weight check before each dive type.
