You can dive in Tulum all year round. The water temperature remains pleasant, ranging from 25 °C to 28 °C. The best time of year for diving in both cenotes and reefs is from October to April. The famous beams of light at El Pit are best seen between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., when the sun is directly overhead (during the summer).

Tulum boasts a unique location that allows visitors to dive in cenotes and reefs, as well as visit the nearby Mayan ruins. Tulum is located about 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Playa del Carmen, about a 45-minute drive away. We can arrange hotel pickup and transportation to the dive sites for an additional fee. The scenic drive along the Caribbean coast further enriches your experience.
You don't always need a cave diving certification. We offer dives in more accessible caverns for recreational divers. For cave exploration, we recommend our cave diving courses. Our experienced guides will tailor the experience to your skill level and certification.
