The Two Eyes of the Sac Actun System
Dos Ojos means two eyes, after the two cenote entrances connected by decorated passages full of stalactites and stalagmites. It is part of Sac Actun, the world’s longest underwater cave system, with more than 370 km of explored passages. The water is so clear that visibility can exceed 100 meters, and the famous Barbie Line route showcases some of the most incredible formations in the area. At about 10 meters deep, it is ideal for beginners and easy to navigate with a guide.

Dos Ojos is in the Tulum area, less than an hour south of Playa del Carmen. Its cavern dives stay within the natural light zone, so an Open Water certification is all you need to join us. The surrounding park is also home to Cenote Nicte-Ha, surrounded by trees and lily pads.

No. Our dives in Dos Ojos stay within the cavern zone, where natural light is always visible, so an Open Water certification is enough. If you are not certified yet, our Discover Scuba experience lets you explore select cenotes with a fully qualified instructor.

Dos Ojos is in the Tulum area of the Riviera Maya, less than an hour's drive south of Playa del Carmen. We have daily departures from Playa del Carmen and can arrange hotel pickup for an additional fee.
Our cenote diving packages include all equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, tanks, weights, fins, mask and dive light), a certified SSI guide, two cenote dives, lunch, snacks and water. Round-trip transportation is available for an additional fee. Cenote entrance fees are paid by the diver.
